BuildingHomes.com was founded on the belief that individuals and families could avoid the common and costly mistakes of the home building experience. Their flagship product is a self-study home building course that provides purchasers the information and contracts necessary to become their own general contractor.

BuildingHomes.com had an existing Web presence when they contacted the IIS team. It was a homegrown website that was hostile to shoppers, provided little information, and had no facilities for online transactions.

After extensive planning, the BuildingHomes.com site was revamped to be consistent with the owner's color and thematic preferences. Graphics of families and individuals happily engaged in saving money through personal involvement in the construction process were implemented, the marketing copy re-written, and the entire site focus was changed from the dry delivery of product information to the personal level features and benefits of the BuildingHomes.com products.

In addition, facilities for online purchase and transactional functions to allow the immediate, online purchase from the BuildingHomes.com product catalogue.
