The Florida Public Relations Association enjoys a strong and vital presence in the Capital City. While it's members are comprised of a number of advertising and public relations agencies, when it came time to establish a Web presence for the Association, their Board of Directors determined that it would be beneficial to the organization to contact the Web-professionals of Intelligent Internet Strategies to develop their site.
Our team spent considerable time in pre-development consultation with the FPRA representatives to determine the purpose of the site, the goals of the Board, and the strategies for accomplishing them within the Association's budget.
In accordance with the wishes of the Association's board, IIS developed several design prototypes, installed a script that permitted the membership to interact dynamically with the comps and vote for their preference, and tracked and tallied the results. When the voting was complete, the design you see here was the one that emerged as the dominant favorite of the membership and was subsequently adopted for the current site.
The FPRA website is still in its infancy. It is primarily informational at this time providing schedules, information, status, and outcomes of events as well as outlines of membership features and benefits. However plans are being implemented for the online registration for Association functions as well as the development of a transactional interface for membership dues and payment for Association-sponsored functions.
