The IIS team was approached by Mr. Braden to develop a multi-media format for the delivery of the continuing education courses that are required by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for the continued professional certification of their members.

This site contained a demo course that utilized multi-media features such as 360 degree photography, streaming audio, and streaming video to enhance the learning experience for the course users.

In addition, interactive quizzes and exams were designed to provide immediate feedback to the students and database-integrated information to the instructors.

Discussion areas were provided for student-to-student and student-to-instructor exchanges and interactions.

This course was professionally assembled by the IIS staff of Instructional Designers and Web Developers to facilitate the delivery of the curriculum via the Web.  Even before the demo website was complete, IIS was requested by several course instructors, including some not in the field of Architecture, to develop online classes for them or to adapt existing courses for Web delivery.
