Healthplan Southeast is a regional Health Maintenance Organization serving the north and central regions of the State of Florida from the Atlantic to the western tip of the Florida panhandle.

This site was developed to create an electronic avenue to increase name recognition for the HMO and to provide much requested and frequently changing information such as lists of physicians in the various business regions, contracted pharmacies, and expanding networks of hospitals. In addition, HPSE uses the site to provide details of the wellness programs available to their members and other "specials" such as discounts with participating gyms and health clubs.

The Healthplan Southeast  Web site provides online, region-specific physician directories, the ability to search this extensive Web site, member-specific areas which provide interactive forms for primary care physician selection and change, as well as conduits for contacting the HPSE Member Services team with inquiries and complaints. Additional areas for agent activities and client activities were developed for use by the various entities in this two-tier market. The initial web site was published in the Fall of 1995. Intelligent Internet Strategies provided development, maintenance, and consulting services for HPSE through December 1999 at which time all functions were transferred to the HPSE in-house team.
