After the successful development of the joint project to deliver continuing legal education with the Florida Bar and Florida State University, IIS was approached by the Director of the Center for Professionalism of The Florida Bar who thought the delivery of this type of professional training could be better delivered if a direct relationship with IIS was established for development and if a professional, private-sector team like IIS was responsible for marketing the program. 

The LegalEdUSA.com site was written in ColdFusion and contains hundreds of pages of lesson content, interactive quizzes, and exams that are designed to provide immediate feedback to the students. 

This series of data-driven courses was professionally developed from the material provided by the IIS staff of Instructional Designers and Web Developers. Streaming audio, and streaming video enhance the learning experience for the course participants and a Professional Forum discussion area provides for extensive interaction of students as well as course graduates.

In addition, a complex data-driven administrative backend was developed to facilitate the recording, tracking, and reporting of student participation to the 7 states that currently recognize the LegalEdUSA.com online courses for continuing education credit.

True to Mr. Remillard's predictions, with the IIS team of professional marketers handling the promotion, the LegalEdUsa.com site grossed more in its first full quarter of operation than the prior FSU/Florida Bar Association initiative did in the entire previous year.
