The Military Plaque Store

The Military Plaque Store is a comprehensive, web-based, specialty store providing commemorative and insignia plaques, framed commemorative art, clocks, and photo frames for military veterans and active duty personnel. MPS has full eCommerce features including a shopping cart, online transactions, as well as site and product database search capabilities.

The IIS team discussed the project at length with the investors to determine the needs of the online store . The site was mapped out in its entirety prior to development. The revenue stream is clearly product-based and the depth and breadth of the product line made the integration of a data-driven catalogue a necessity.

The crux of the initial marketing was email notification to opt-in users. The ongoing marketing and expansion of  the customer base is achieved through an electronic newsletter and an easy to use site referral script.
